  • Provide post-deployment over-the-shoulder training to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) personnel to support transition and sustainment of network systems.
  • Design and implement routing policies and load-balancing solutions using BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols.
  • Create cybersecurity artifacts including topology and data-flow diagrams, hardware and software inventories, STIG checklists, ports/protocols/services documentation, and POA&Ms.
  • Design and implement secure network, system, and application architectures.
  • Implement and support network management capabilities including SNMP, SYSLOG, and orchestration tools.
  • Create bills of material (LOMs) capturing major components and installation materials required for successful deployment of systems.
  • Prepare or contribute to technical deliverables, reports, and performance metrics, as applicable.
  • Ensure network solutions comply with applicable Department of the Air Force (DAF) policies and approved IT integration requirements.
  • Coordinate with local Communications Squadron and/or regional cybersecurity teams to configure, turn up, and cut over new deployments.
  • Assist O&M personnel in troubleshooting network-related issues following deployment of new systems.
  • Resolve complex technical issues involving network infrastructure, hardware, and software, applying advanced expertise across multiple work assignments.
