Location: Plano, Texas (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Warehouse Developer to act as a member of the development team for a GTS Data Technology platform. This role requires the ability to design systems with minimal direction and to partner with both technology and business associates to implement solutions. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with thought leadership and strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions within the data warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with business and technology partners to implement data solutions.
- Manage and process large data volumes, focusing on performance tuning.
- Utilize expertise in data warehousing and dimensional data modeling throughout the project lifecycle.
- Operate independently, multitask effectively, and demonstrate leadership.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 15+ years of total experience as a developer.
Technical Skills:- Expert knowledge of Oracle and Exadata.
- Expert knowledge of Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with ETL processing concepts.
- Experience in handling large data volumes and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of the project lifecycle, data warehousing, and dimensional data modeling.
- Familiarity with Starburst.
Preferred Qualifications
- Business acumen and knowledge of the payment domain, both internationally and in the US.
- Strong communication, writing, and relationship-building skills.
