We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Warehouse Architect to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of our enterprise data platform. This individual will be responsible for defining the organization's data architecture strategy, establishing best practices, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing data warehouse and analytics solutions across both Azure and AWS cloud environments.

The ideal candidate is a strategic technology leader with extensive experience designing modern cloud-based data platforms, implementing enterprise data governance, and mentoring engineering teams. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, application teams, data engineers, architects, and executive leadership to enable trusted, timely, and actionable data across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain the enterprise data warehouse architecture and long-term data strategy.

Lead the architecture and implementation of modern cloud-based data platforms across Azure and AWS.

Develop scalable data models, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data integration standards.

Define enterprise architecture principles, reference architectures, and technical standards for data platforms.

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend architectural improvements that align with business objectives.

Establish data governance, metadata management, data quality, lineage, and security standards.

Design solutions that support reporting, business intelligence, self-service analytics, AI, and machine learning initiatives.

Partner with infrastructure, security, application development, and business teams to ensure successful delivery of enterprise data solutions.

Lead architecture reviews and ensure solutions adhere to enterprise standards.

Optimize performance, scalability, availability, resiliency, and cost across cloud data platforms.

Mentor data engineers and architects while promoting engineering best practices and continuous improvement.

Provide technical leadership during migrations from legacy data warehouses to modern cloud platforms.

Develop and maintain enterprise data architecture documentation, standards, and roadmaps.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

10+ years of experience in data warehousing, data architecture, or enterprise data engineering.

5+ years designing enterprise cloud data platforms.

Demonstrated experience leading enterprise architecture initiatives.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
