Position: WM Active Lead Consultant Location: Remote (Travel as Required) Experience: 8+ Years
Key Responsibilities
Lead solution design workshops with business stakeholders, warehouse
operations teams, and solution architects for Manhattan Active WM
implementations.
Drive end-to-end solution design by reviewing business processes and
preparing scalable MAWM solution designs.
Configure Manhattan Active Warehouse Management to support inbound,
outbound, inventory, labor, and fulfillment processes.
Validate solution designs through unit testing and support system integration
testing and user acceptance testing.
Provide functional expertise for MAWM extensions, including Custom Labels,
Report Development, PIX, Ship Confirm Enrichments, and ProActive
configurations.
Partner with development teams to deliver custom enhancements and
integrations.
Support multiple implementation go-lives, hypercare activities, and post-
production stabilization.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across warehouse operations, system
interfaces, and integrations with ERP, TMS, and other enterprise applications.
Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and client stakeholders to identify
process improvements and recommend best practices.
Monitor system performance, identify optimization opportunities, and support
continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to support
organizations.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience with at least
3+ years of hands-on Manhattan Active Warehouse Management
(MAWM) experience.
Proven experience leading three or more full-cycle MAWM
implementations, including design, configuration, go-live, and hypercare
support.
Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including picking, packing,
shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
Experience working in high-volume retail, distribution, or 3PL warehouse
environments.
Strong understanding of integrations between WMS, ERP, TMS, and
enterprise systems.
Experience configuring MAWM and supporting end-to-end warehouse
business processes.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-
solving skills.
Ability to travel based on project requirements and provide support during go-
live and stabilization activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing MAWM in cloud or hybrid environments.
Familiarity with middleware and integration platforms such as MuleSoft,
Boomi, or EDI.
Experience with warehouse automation technologies including conveyors,
sorters, robotics, or AMR integrations.
Knowledge of retail and 3PL warehouse processes such as wave
management, slotting, labor tracking, and value-added services (VAS).
Experience supporting enterprise-scale warehouse transformation programs.
