Location: Remote (Must visit in East Coast at client office once in a Month)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant with stong hands-on experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) implementation across both SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM and Standalone/Decentralized EWM environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse management processes, SAP EWM configuration, integration, testing, and implementation lifecycle.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to design and implement scalable SAP EWM solutions supporting complex warehouse and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP EWM implementation projects.
• Configure and implement SAP EWM solutions in both:
• SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM
• Standalone/Decentralized SAP EWM
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP EWM functional solutions.
• Configure key EWM processes including:
• Inbound and outbound processing
• Goods receipt and goods issue
• Putaway and stock removal
• Warehouse tasks and warehouse orders
• Physical inventory
• Internal warehouse movements
• Replenishment
• Handling Unit Management
• Slotting and rearrangement
• Labor management
• Cross-docking
• Wave management
• Configure warehouse structures, storage types, storage sections, activity areas, bins, work centers, and warehouse process types.
• Design and configure warehouse process types, queues, determination rules, and warehouse order creation rules.
• Support integration between EWM and SAP S/4HANA/MM, SD, PP, QM, and Transportation processes.
• Work with technical teams on integrations using IDocs, RFC, APIs, web services, and SAP integration technologies.
• Support integration with automation systems, conveyors, scanners, robotics, and other warehouse equipment where applicable.
• Conduct functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Prepare functional specifications and support technical teams during development.
• Perform defect analysis, troubleshooting, and production support during implementation and go-live.
• Participate in data migration, cutover planning, mock cutovers, and go-live activities.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users and support teams.
• Work with offshore/onshore teams and coordinate activities across multiple workstreams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of SAP EWM experience, preferably with multiple implementation projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP EWM implementation and configuration.
• Proven experience with both SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM and Standalone/Decentralized EWM.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse management and logistics processes.
• Experience with SAP EWM integration with SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
• Strong knowledge of inbound, outbound, inventory, replenishment, warehouse movements, and physical inventory processes.
• Experience configuring warehouse structures, warehouse process types, storage control, wave management, and warehouse orders.
• Experience with Handling Unit Management (HUM).
• Strong understanding of EWM master data and transactional processes.
• Experience with EWM testing, defect resolution, cutover, and go-live support.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA 2020/2021/2022/2023 or later releases.
• Experience with SAP EWM integration using CIF, qRFC, IDocs, RFC, APIs, and web services.
• Knowledge of SAP MFS (Material Flow System).
• Experience integrating EWM with warehouse automation and material handling systems.
• Knowledge of SAP TM integration with EWM.
• Experience with SAP PP/QM integration.
• SAP EWM certification is a plus.
• Experience working on global SAP transformation or S/4HANA migration programs.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• SAP EWM certification is preferred.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on SAP EWM implementation consultant who has successfully delivered EWM solutions in both Embedded S/4HANA and Standalone/Decentralized environments, with strong warehouse process knowledge and the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams throughout the full implementation lifecycle.
