Position type: Full-time, Contract (W2)
Duration: 12 Months Contract w/ extension.
Location: Minneapolis. MN/ Charlotte, NC – 3 days onsite/ 2 day remote

Overview: Client is seeking an experienced Workday Extend Consultant with expertise in Workday Advanced Compensation and Workday Extend to join a high-performing HR Information Technology (HRIT) team. This role will play a key part in delivering innovative compensation solutions supporting critical U.S. and global compensation programs.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Workday technical expert who can leverage Advanced Compensation capabilities, Workday Extend, integrations, and reporting technologies to solve complex business challenges. This position offers the opportunity to lead large-scale initiatives while working closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering partners in an Agile environment.

As a Workday Extend Consultant, you will:

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and support Workday Compensation solutions and enhancements.
Build custom applications and technical solutions using Workday Extend.
Develop and maintain Workday integrations utilizing Studio, EIBs, and Core Connectors.
Create and manage Advanced Reports, Report Writer reports, and BIRT reports.
Lead technical design discussions and provide solutions for complex business requirements.
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and Agile delivery activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across Compensation processes.
Collaborate with HR, Compensation, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers.
Support annual compensation planning and year-end compensation cycles.

The ideal candidate will have:

Workday Advanced Compensation development experience.
Workday development and integration experience.
Experience with:

Workday Studio
EIBs
Core Connectors
Advanced Reporting
Report Writer

Experience designing and implementing technical solutions within Workday.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Experience working within Agile development environments.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $69- $74 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
