RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Los Angeles, CA that is seeking an experienced Program Manager, EPMO Demand Management to lead the evaluation, prioritization, governance, and delivery of enterprise technology initiatives within a healthcare environment.
Summary:
This role will serve as a central point of contact for new technology project requests, partnering with executive leadership, clinical stakeholders, business teams, and IT to evaluate business needs, strategic value, costs, risks, and resource requirements before initiatives move forward.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in healthcare IT program/project management, EPMO governance, demand management, business case development, and project financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the intake and evaluation of new technology project requests and initiatives
* Partner with executive, clinical, business, and technical stakeholders to define business needs, scope, objectives, requirements, costs, risks, and expected value
* Develop and evaluate business cases supporting proposed technology investments
* Facilitate project prioritization based on strategic alignment, business impact, urgency, risk, and organizational priorities
* Coordinate project reviews with EPMO governance committees for approval, deferral, or rejection
* Maintain visibility into the demand and project lifecycle using ServiceNow
* Lead complex technology projects through planning, requirements, design, implementation, testing, operational readiness, and close
* Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, RAID logs, dependencies, and benefits
* Lead business and technical requirements gathering across multiple functional areas
* Drive business process documentation and process redesign initiatives
* Partner with project sponsors and cross-functional teams to manage change and stakeholder alignment
REQUIREMENTS:
* 10+ years of healthcare IT project/program management experience
* Strong project management background within a hospital or health system IT environment
* Experience with EPMO, project intake, demand management, governance, or portfolio prioritization
* Demonstrated experience leading large, business-critical technology initiatives from concept through implementation
* Experience developing business cases and evaluating technology investments
* Strong project financial management skills, including budgeting, Capital vs. Operating expenses, ROI, and cost analysis
* Experience gathering and validating business and technical requirements
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, RAID management, and change management
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
* Experience working with executive leadership, clinical stakeholders, business teams, and technical teams
* Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience managing operational readiness, testing, and implementation activities
* Ability to work independently and effectively within a remote workforce environment
* PMP preferred, although extensive relevant experience may be considered in lieu of certification
* ServiceNow experience strongly preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
