Description
We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to provide responsive technical assistance and deliver excellent customer support for end users. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving day-to-day technology issues while supporting desktop environments, software applications, and core user account needs. The role focuses on diagnosing problems efficiently, guiding users through solutions, and ensuring support requests are handled thoroughly from intake to completion.
Responsibilities:
Provide front-line technical support to users, addressing a high volume of customer service-oriented questions related to software, hardware, and general system access.
Diagnose and resolve issues affecting desktop computers, laptops, and server-connected environments, using a methodical approach to restore normal operations.
Set up, configure, and maintain end-user devices, business applications, and peripheral equipment to ensure reliable performance.
Manage incoming service desk requests, record issue details accurately, and follow each ticket through to a complete and timely resolution.
Support user account and access-related tasks within Active Directory as part of routine help desk operations.
Assist with Windows-based troubleshooting across supported devices, including identifying operating system, application, and connectivity problems.
Communicate clearly with employees and stakeholders to explain solutions, provide updates, and maintain a positive support experience.
Requirements
Experience providing help desk or desktop support in a customer-facing technical environment.
Working knowledge of Active Directory for basic user account administration and access support.
Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments, including Windows 10.
Ability to perform foundational troubleshooting for hardware, software, and system-related issues.
Familiarity with service desk ticketing processes and documenting incidents through resolution.
Strong communication skills with a focus on professionalism, patience, and customer service.
Ability to organize multiple requests, prioritize effectively, and respond in a timely manner.
