Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Network Engineer to Operate at the enterprise level responsible for executing strategy and tactical plan of implementation, as well as operationalizing investments which ultimately result in a resilient network architecture that is scalable to meet the growing business needs as well as lowered mean time to repair and time between incidents. Ensure that requirements (both business and technical) and use cases are collected with requirements defined to meet expectations in the most efficient and economical way possible. Establish testing strategy, standards and/or objectives in alignment with company enterprise IT objectives. Apply expertise in Software Defined Networking with deep understanding of Networking Infrastructure and Network Topologies. Responsible for creating network designs, implement network deployments and provide level 4 operations support. Responsible for crafting and deploying Network Infrastructure Solutions as per the business needs. Interact with business partners, project managers, infrastructure implementation managers facilities partners, server admins, application owners and vendors for delivery and maintaining service level agreements. Design network diagrams with Visio and manage project tasks for network deployments. Perform routing and switching, as well as network deployments and maintenances as applicable. Maintain proper documentation for entire SDN environment. Ensure the security, stability, and efficiency of the network infrastructure. Hybrid position: remote work permitted but must live within commuting distance of designated office location and remain available to report to office as needed and required. Multiple openings.
Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Assurance, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Supporting large data, analytics, and technology modernization initiatives; Routing, Switching, Network Automation, Load Balancing, Firewall; Develop and implement strategic roadmaps, drive operational process improvements, and contribute to reducing technical debt and operational costs; Configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting technologies such as BGP, SD-WAN, VXLAN, LTE, and wireless controllers for modernizing data centers and refreshing wireless infrastructure; VOIP, Network Troubleshooting, Monitoring, Security and Task Scheduling; and Scripting, Python, Ansible, Config Management, Incident response.
Pay Range: $101970.00/year to $203940.00/year.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
