Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience in Java Microservices, Spring Boot, and Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals to design and develop scalable backend solutions on cloud platforms

Job Description

Develop and maintain microservices-based backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Design and implement RESTful APIs to support business functionalities
Utilize Google Cloud Platform fundamentals to deploy and manage cloud native applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA and frontend developers to deliver robust backend solutions.
Ensure high performance, scalability, and responsiveness of backend services.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to maintain system reliability.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Java microservices and cloud development.
Work within an Agile development environment following established best practices

Roles and Responsibilities

Write clean, maintainable and efficient Java code adhering to coding standards.
Design, develop and deploy microservices using the Spring Boot framework.
Implement security, logging and monitoring within microservices
Participate actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
Conduct unit testing and support integration testing efforts to ensure software quality.
Optimise application performance and scalability.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance within the team.
Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Utilise Google Cloud Platform tools and services to enhance application deployment and management
