Key Responsibilities
Unbox, inventory, label, and prepare Android tablets for deployment.
Configure Android tablets according to customer standards.
Enroll and manage Android tablets in Microsoft Intune.
Configure Android Enterprise enrollment, device profiles, compliance policies, configuration policies, and security settings in Intune.
Connect devices to Wi-Fi and required corporate networks.
Install and configure required applications through Microsoft Intune.
Assign devices to the appropriate users, groups, and Intune policies.
Verify device enrollment, policy application, application installation, and compliance status in Intune.
Test devices before handing them over to users.
Deploy tablets to designated users and locations within the facility.
Provide basic user assistance during deployment.
Troubleshoot Intune enrollment, connectivity, application, login, configuration, compliance, and hardware issues.
Maintain accurate records of device serial numbers, asset tags, assigned users, Intune enrollment status, and deployment status.
Coordinate with the customer s IT team and Maitsys project team.
Escalate technical issues that cannot be resolved onsite.
Provide daily deployment and progress updates.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Android tablets or Android mobile devices.
Required experience enrolling and managing Android devices using Microsoft Intune.
Working knowledge of Android Enterprise and Intune device enrollment processes.
Experience configuring Intune device profiles, compliance policies, configuration policies, application assignments, and security settings.
Basic understanding of Wi-Fi, networking, user accounts, identity, and device security.
Experience installing and troubleshooting Android applications through Microsoft Intune.
Previous experience with device rollouts, desktop support, field services, or IT deployment projects is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Comfortable interacting directly with customer employees.
Ability to work independently and complete deployments according to schedule.
Must be available to work onsite in Vermont for approximately one month.
