We are seeking a highly experienced Android Lead Developer to lead the technical execution and delivery of complex native Android solutions. This individual will oversee coding activities, guide senior developers, define technical direction, and ensure that prioritized business features are delivered according to established architecture, coding, and SDLC standards.

Required Qualifications


  • At least 8 years of native Android software development experience using Kotlin
  • At least 8 years of experience designing and implementing technical solutions for complex business requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience troubleshooting code defects and resolving production issues
  • Experience leading and managing at least three to five medium-to-large custom implementation projects
  • Experience leading the execution of complex technical projects
  • Experience overseeing and coordinating development activities performed by lead and senior developers
  • Expert knowledge of IT architecture principles
  • Strong understanding of application architecture and software development lifecycle concepts
  • Experience developing prototypes and evaluating alternative technical solutions
  • Ability to structure technical work for medium-to-high-complexity projects
  • Experience establishing and communicating technical goals and direction
  • Ability to provide training, guidance, and technical direction to less-experienced developers
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong collaboration and team-support skills

Responsibilities


  • Lead the technical execution of complex native Android projects
  • Oversee and coordinate coding activities across the project
  • Lead and support a team of lead developers and senior developers
  • Collaborate with architecture teams on system and application design
  • Develop prototypes and evaluate alternative technical approaches
  • Establish and communicate technical goals and direction for the development team
  • Provide technical guidance and training to less-experienced team members
  • Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies
  • Deliver complex work items supporting prioritized business features
  • Interpret technical guidance and acceptance criteria to ensure solutions meet all requirements
