Role OverviewWe are seeking a Business Analyst with both functional and technical expertise to partner with product managers and business stakeholders. This role involves analyzing data processing challenges and user requirements to automate or enhance existing systems. The ideal candidate will review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling to propose effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and document detailed functional requirements.
- Create, maintain, and update Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
- Partner with the Product Owner and development team to translate requirements into user stories and define clear acceptance criteria.
- Discuss and document both functional and non-functional requirements, including technical dependencies, integrations, and performance considerations.
- Independently drive requirement clarification, identify gaps, and follow up with stakeholders.
- Lead discussions with business partners, technical teams, and product leadership.
- Gather requirements from business units and translate them for programmers and developers.
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses for system implementation decisions.
- Serve as the liaison between business and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered.
Required QualificationsEducation: A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.
Experience: Experience serving as the liaison between business and technical teams is necessary. Must be capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Skills:- Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Basic knowledge of design techniques and principles.
- Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.
- Strong meeting facilitation skills.
Preferred Qualifications- An MBA or other related advanced degree is preferred.
