Job Description
We are seeking a User Experience Designer to join our dynamic team supporting Edward Jones Home Office. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in UX design, Figma, and usability design and a proven ability to translate complex business needs into simple, user-centered digital experiences. This is a staff augmentation opportunity with a high chance of extension.
Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end user experiences for digital products that support financial advisors and branch teams.
- Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma.
- Partner with UX Research to synthesize insights and co-create effective solutions.
- Facilitate discovery, gather and refine requirements, and align designs to business objectives.
- Collaborate with Product, Business, Technology, Operations, Service, Change Management, and UX stakeholders.
- Communicate design rationale, present concepts, and incorporate feedback while maintaining a user-centered approach.
- Simplify complex workflows and financial concepts into intuitive experiences.
- Contribute in Agile ceremonies across planning, refinement, design, development, and validation.
- Ensure feasibility, accessibility, and alignment with design systems and UX best practices.
- Build trusted relationships to drive alignment and delivery.
- Leverage modern AI-assisted design and productivity tools to accelerate exploration and collaboration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional experience designing enterprise or customer-facing digital products as a UX Designer.
- Proficiency with Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and component-based design systems.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered process, interaction design, and visual design. Include portfolio in CV submission.
- Communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain design decisions to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and deliver with minimal direction.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex workflows and information.
- Experience level: 4+ years.
- Bachelor degree.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
- Experience working with enterprise design systems.
- Experience with AI-powered design and development tools.
- UX strategy, service design, and agile digital product experience.
