Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Armonk, NY that is seeking an experienced Salesforce Lead Business Analyst to support a large-scale, greenfield customer technology and customer information system transformation for a regulated energy and utilities organization. The program is modernizing customer service and clean-energy program capabilities, replacing legacy Salesforce environments, preserving required business logic, and reducing technical debt through a clean future-state architecture.

Summary:
The Salesforce Business Analyst Lead owns a major functional workstream, coordinates requirements quality, guides other analysts, and remains hands-on from discovery through production transition. The role ensures that utility customer and clean-energy program needs are translated into coherent Salesforce requirements across business, experience, data, integration, and testing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead discovery, stakeholder interviews, process reviews, and functional solution discussions for utility customer operations and clean-energy programs
* Coordinate analysts within the assigned workstream, review requirements quality, manage dependencies, and escalate decisions and scope risks
* Translate current-state processes and business needs into capabilities, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, business rules, data requirements, and functional designs
* Define OmniScript-guided process requirements including steps, logic, validations, data, exceptions, and user experience
* Translate legacy customer programs, clean-energy eligibility and enrollment rules, case processes, and operating logic into future-state requirements
* Partner with architects and developers to determine whether needs should be met through configuration, Flow, OmniStudio, custom development, integration, data, or process change
* Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, design reviews, demos, UAT, defect triage, traceability, release readiness, and production transition

REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of Salesforce functional analysis or consulting experience, including ownership of a complex workstream or leadership of other analysts
* Strong functional knowledge of Salesforce Energy and Utilities Cloud, Service Cloud, OmniStudio and OmniScript, and the Salesforce Clean Energy Module
* Working knowledge of Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, Flow, security, integration, data migration, and testing dependencies
* Experience documenting requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, business rules, data mappings, functional designs, and UAT scenarios
* Experience analyzing utility customer-service, clean-energy program, eligibility, enrollment, or comparable regulated-industry processes
* Ability to challenge legacy assumptions, maintain traceability, guide analysts, and own outcomes through testing and release
* Exceptional facilitation, stakeholder-management, written, and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* Utility customer information system or clean-energy program transformation experience
* Salesforce Business Analyst, Administrator, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, OmniStudio, or Energy and Utilities Cloud credentials
* Prior Salesforce Administrator, Functional Consultant, product ownership, or team-lead experience
