Human Resources Advisor for one of our premier clients in Stevens Point. This is a temporary position and set to start immediately.
The
Human Resources Advisor- Benefits, Compliance & HR Operations provides experienced, hands-on human resources support during a period of organizational transition and reduced team capacity. This role partners with leadership to maintain effective HR operations, administer employee benefits programs, support compliance and regulatory requirements, and assist with HR systems, reporting, and process improvements. The ideal candidate brings broad HR management experience, strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate strategically while also supporting day-to-day administrative and operational needs. This interim position plays a key role in ensuring continuity of HR services while the organization evaluates its long-term HR structure, responsibilities, and staffing needs.
Human Resources Advisor Core Competencies- Professional experience in human resources or related business leadership roles, with transferable skills applicable across multiple HR disciplines. Ideal candidates may have prior experience as an HR Business Partner, Human Resources Manager, or similar professional leadership position.
- Ability to perform work at a management level while also supporting operational and administrative activities as needed.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand organizational needs, evaluate impacts, and provide practical recommendations.
- Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and system administration concepts. Direct UKG experience is not required; however, candidates should understand common HRIS structures, processes, and reporting functionality to enable a quick onboarding and effective support of HR operations.
- Experience with employee benefits administration, including compliance-related activities, annual enrollment preparation, vendor coordination, and related processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, prepare reports, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.
- Research and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to investigate compliance, regulatory, and other business-related topics and provide actionable recommendations.
- Broad HR operations experience preferred; this role is not expected to have primary responsibility for employee relations investigations, performance management, labor relations, recruiting, or talent acquisition activities.
Education and Experience Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of related HR, benefits, or compliance experience preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
