Summary

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Production Support Analyst to support the stability, availability, and performance of production and non-production environments. This role involves providing operational support across AIX and Windows platforms, managing certificates, service accounts, software deployments, scripting automation, incident resolution, and production change activities. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting enterprise production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide production support for applications, servers, and infrastructure on IBM AIX and Windows Server platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, application issues, batch failures, and system outages.
Perform certificate installation, renewal, and validation activities.
Manage service accounts, user access, and password rotations.
Install, upgrade, validate, and remove approved software packages.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Korn Shell, or Python.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-implementation validation.
Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and operations teams to support production changes and releases.
Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call support as required.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Production Support, Application Support, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Operations.
Hands-on experience with IBM AIX and Microsoft Windows Server.
Experience with certificate management, service accounts, and software installations.
Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, Korn Shell, or Python.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with ITIL processes, incident management, change management, and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated environments.
Familiarity with monitoring tools, secure file transfer, vulnerability remediation, and enterprise security practices.
Experience supporting hosted applications, batch processing, and multi-environment deployments.
