JOB SUMMARY The Quality Assurance Analyst IV is responsible for ensuring the quality of complex business applications through comprehensive manual testing. This role involves close collaboration with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and other QA team members to validate system functionality, business rules, pricing calculations, and integrations across multiple applications. The analyst will create and execute detailed test cases, validate complex logic and calculations, perform various forms of testing including end-to-end and integration testing, and manage defects through resolution in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Review business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications. Create and execute detailed manual test cases and test scenarios. Validate complex pricing calculations and business rule execution. Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing support. Conduct end-to-end testing across multiple integrated applications. Verify data consistency between application interfaces, reports, APIs, and batch outputs. Track, document, and manage defects through resolution. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and defect triage discussions. Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met before release. Support production validation and post-deployment testing activities as required. Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in Manual Quality Assurance and software testing. Strong experience creating and executing detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios. Experience validating complex business processes, calculations, and rule-based systems. Proven ability to perform end-to-end testing across multiple integrated applications. Strong defect management experience, including defect reporting, tracking, root-cause analysis support, and validation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience supporting business-critical enterprise applications. Comfortable working in hybrid environments and interacting with distributed teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience testing financial services, insurance, wealth management, or pricing systems. Strong SQL and data validation skills. Experience validating batch processes, file-based integrations, CSV outputs, and reports. Exposure to API testing using tools such as Postman for functional validation. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. Education: Bachelors Degree
