Manual Tester

We are seeking an experienced Manual QA Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating enterprise applications, creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Manual QA Tester or Software Test Engineer.
• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience creating and executing:
  • Test Plans
  • Test Cases
  • Test Scenarios
  • Regression Testing
  • Functional Testing
  • Integration Testing
  • System Testing
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Experience logging, tracking, and managing defects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities:

• Review business and functional requirements.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute manual testing for new features and enhancements.
• Perform regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Validate application functionality and business requirements.
• Perform SQL queries for backend data validation.
• Report, document, and track defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure software quality before production deployment.
