Description
We are looking for a Systems Engineer to support and enhance enterprise infrastructure for a Financial Services organization in Los Angeles, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can manage modern endpoint, cloud, and systems technologies while maintaining a secure and reliable environment. The role offers the opportunity to work across core infrastructure platforms, drive operational improvements, and contribute to scalable technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
Administer and optimize enterprise systems built on Cisco, Citrix, Dell EMC, and related infrastructure platforms to ensure strong performance and availability.
Support cloud-based environments and services, including AWS, while helping maintain stable, secure, and efficient operations across hybrid infrastructure.
Manage endpoint administration and mobile device management solutions, with a focus on Intune and broader MDM technologies for device compliance and user support.
Maintain and enhance Active Directory services, including user access, group policy administration, and directory-related troubleshooting.
Develop and implement automation workflows that reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and strengthen operational efficiency.
Oversee backup processes and recovery readiness to help protect business-critical systems and data.
Perform system testing and validation activities, including A/B testing where appropriate, to assess configuration changes and platform improvements.
Collaborate with technical teams to investigate incidents, resolve infrastructure issues, and support ongoing system upgrades and enhancements.
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Systems Engineer in enterprise IT environments.
Hands-on expertise with Cisco technologies, Citrix platforms, and Dell EMC infrastructure solutions.
Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, including practical experience with AWS services.
Experience administering Active Directory, endpoint management tools, and Intune in a business environment.
Familiarity with backup technologies and operational best practices for system resilience and recovery.
Ability to create and maintain automation solutions that improve infrastructure management.
Working knowledge of MDM platforms and device lifecycle support for corporate environments.
