Job Title: Data Architect

Location: Waukegan, IL (Onsite)

Job Responsibilities:

• Design Data Models: Build scalable data warehouses and data lakes for clinical trial data and research information.
• Compliance: Follow regulations like GxP, GDPR, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 for data security and privacy.
• Integrate Systems: Connect electronic data capture (EDC) systems, laboratory information management systems (LIMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
• Manage Data Quality: Create data governance policies to ensure accuracy and consistency across research and commercial teams.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work with data scientists, biostatisticians, and software engineers to support drug discovery and commercial analytics.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of data architecture experience, with at least 2 years in the life sciences or healthcare sector.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) and relational/NoSQL databases.

Required Education:  At least a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems or closely related field is required.
