PayPal Send Money

PayPal has relaunched its Send Money app on Facebook to provide a more personal way to send payments to friends and family. The app, first launched in 2009, now comes with a twist - e-cards. Through the app, funds can be sent with or without the e-card. If you do send one, the e-card and its will be posted on the recipient's wall, though the payment amount will be kept confidential. Beyond that, there isn't much of a difference between sending money from PayPal's website or the Facebook app. You're still required to log in to your PayPal account, and you'll have to know beforehand the e-mail address associated with the recipient's PayPal account. An e-mail will then be sent to the recipient to remind him or her to claim the money. Those without a PayPal account must sign up for one in order to receive it. The e-card collection is rather extensive, ranging from common birthday and Christmas cards to random ones like "Just for fun." Anyone want to send me money just for fun? [slideshow]
