Need Onsite OpenWrt Senior Network Engineer

This position is open only to W2 or 1099 candidates who are holders. No third-party candidates

Introduction:

We are currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer with expertise in Cable Broadband, Linux, C/C++, and OpenWrt to join our team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in network engineering and development, specifically in the areas of high-speed data networks within the cable industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain network infrastructure using OpenWrt, Linux, and C/C++ programming
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance of cable broadband networks
• Conduct network testing and analysis to ensure quality of service
• Provide onsite network support and assist with network troubleshooting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network solutions

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 5-8 years of Network Engineering development experience
• Knowledge in Telecom, Cable Technologies, and products
• Hands-on experience in Linux, C/C++, and OpenWrt
• Strong expertise in cable industry, specifically in high-speed data networks

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Network Protocols, TCP/IP, Routing and Switching
• Firmware Development experience
• Knowledge of Cable Modems, CMTS, and DOCSIS
• Experience with Network Troubleshooting, Performance Optimization, and Network Testing
• Understanding of WiFi Networking, IPv4, IPv6, QoS, VLANs, Packet Analysis, and SNMP
