Position: Vendor Management Office (VMO) Manager

Must have global vendor management experience along with Coupa experience.
Experienced in governance and rogue spend tracking, vendor negotiations, and organizational change management.
Position Summary:
The IT VMO Manager is responsible for overseeing the governance, performance, and strategic alignment of IT vendors to ensure delivery of high-quality services and compliance with organizational standards. This role acts as the primary liaison between internal IT stakeholders and external vendors, driving value through effective vendor relationships, risk management, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Governance & Strategy
o Develop and maintain vendor management policies, processes, and performance frameworks.
o Align vendor strategies with IT and business objectives to support digital transformation and operational efficiency.
- Contract & Compliance Management
o Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and regulatory requirements.
o Monitor compliance with security, privacy, and risk mitigation standards.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting
o Implement vendor scorecards and dashboards for performance tracking.
o Conduct quarterly business reviews and provide actionable insights to leadership.
o Manage vendor budgets, cost optimization initiatives, and consolidated billing processes.
o Identify opportunities for savings through rate benchmarking and competitive bidding.
o Serve as the single point of contact for vendor-related escalations and issue resolution.
o Collaborate with procurement, legal, and IT teams to ensure seamless vendor onboarding and offboarding.
o Drive automation and process improvements for vendor lifecycle management.
o VMS Implementation experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in IT vendor management, procurement, or supplier governance.
- Strong knowledge of VMS tools (e.g., Coupa) and IT service delivery models.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOC, ISO).
