About the role:

You will report to the Safety & Reactors Systems Manager at the New Stanton Westinghouse location. This is a hybrid position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain drawings and design/technical specifications for Rod Control or Position products.
  • Perform engineering calculations in support of design and analysis of Rod Control or Position products.
  • Compile technical documents/specifications for procurement/manufacturing of Rod Control or Position products.
  • Develop, implement, and troubleshoot control system ladder logic.
  • Lead supplier and/or manufacturing operations with technical issue resolution.
  • Hands-on installation and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Develop and issue test documentation and perform testing on New Stanton testbed equipment.
  • Understand and lead interfaces with external engineering groups (Infrastructure, Equipment Qualifications, etc.).
  • Provide technical mentoring for team members.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar engineering discipline is required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis and design.
  • Knowledge of control theory.
  • Awareness of typical industry standard drawings including P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, cabinet drawings and panel layouts.
  • Knowledge of lab equipment use (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator, etc.).
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • SolidWorks and/or Inventor experience

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
