Job Title: Oracle XStore Technical Lead (Offshore)

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced XStore Technical Lead to manage offshore development and support activities. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle XStore POS, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead offshore XStore development and support teams.
• Design, develop, and maintain XStore POS customizations and integrations.
• Collaborate with onsite teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Required Skills:

• 8 years of experience in Oracle XStore POS development.
• Strong Java and Oracle database skills.
• Experience with XStore upgrades, customizations, and integrations.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Retail domain experience is a plus.

The Development Background 

• Java Development: Deep expertise in Java is critical for customizing and extending XStore POS functionalities. 
• Oracle Database & PL/SQL: Strong command of Oracle DB, including PL/SQL scripting, is required for backend data operations and integrations.
• XStore Suite Components: Familiarity with modules like Xadmin, Xcenter, Xservices, Xenvironment, and XMobile Tablet is expected for architecture and deployment tasks.  
• POS Customization & Integration: Skills in customizing UI, handling locale changes, device configurations, and integrating with third-party systems (e.g., payment gateways like FreedomPay, SixPay, TenderRetail) are vital. 
• API Development: Experience with REST/SOAP APIs using JSON/XML for system communication is often required.  
• DevOps & Version Control: Familiarity with tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, and deployment pipelines is increasingly important for CI/CD workflows. 
• Retail Domain Knowledge: Understanding retail workflows, multi-store environments, and POS hardware (printers, scanners, payment terminals) enhances solution relevance.
