Solution Architect

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect Data Platform to join a growing data and cloud architecture team. This role focuses on designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms that enable data-driven decision-making and automation.

The Solution Architect will work closely with data engineering, data science, and product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-based data solutions. This is a hands-on role ideal for a senior AWS professional who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide architectural guidance to ensure solutions align with enterprise data and cloud standards.


• Design and develop enterprise-level data platform solutions using AWS best practices.


• Build and support data migration, data delivery, and machine learning pipelines.


• Design and implement IAM roles and policies to support secure access management.


• Build resilient, reliable, performant, and secure data platforms and applications.


• Collaborate with application development and data engineering teams on daily execution and project planning.


• Automate deployment of AWS services and BI applications using CI/CD pipelines.


• Configure cloud monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in application, platform, or data engineering roles.


• 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud data engineering or architecture.


• Strong experience with AWS services including S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, Step Functions, VPC, IAM, and Security Groups.


• Experience with data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake or Redshift.


• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.


• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, Aurora, RDS, MongoDB, Redis.


• Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).


• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM roles, and policies.


• Experience configuring AWS monitoring and alerts.


• Ability to understand enterprise architecture diagrams and security requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with streaming platforms such as Kafka or Kinesis.


• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS Fargate.


• Experience with on-premises to cloud (AWS) migrations.


• Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.


• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
