Job Description:
• As a Software Asset Management and Business Continuity Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the software lifecycle and developing and implementing business continuity plans to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Your role will be crucial in minimizing risks related to software license compliance and preparing the organization for unexpected events.
Responsibilities:
• Manage software licenses, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
• Monitor and optimize software usage within the organization.
• Develop and update business continuity plans (BCP) to ensure readiness for crisis situations.
• Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses to identify potential threats and their effects on business operations.
• Create and maintain detailed operational procedures for crisis management.
• Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders during emergencies.
• Regularly test and update the business continuity plan based on test results and changing conditions.
• Provide training and awareness programs for staff on software asset management and business continuity.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in software asset management and business continuity planning.
• Strong understanding of software licensing and compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, ISO 22301) are a plus.
