About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced
File Transfer Analyst / MOVEit Administrator to support
business-critical secure file transfers across the enterprise. This role will step directly into
ownership of existing MOVEit Automation and SFTP services, ensuring data is transferred securely, reliably, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
This position was created to provide immediate continuity for a critical operational function and offers a
3-6 month contract with a strong likelihood of conversion. Success in this role requires not just technical depth, but the ability to
communicate clearly with business stakeholders, proactively prevent disruptions, and take true ownership of managed file transfer operations.

Key Areas of Focus- Enterprise File Transfer Operations: Support and enhance automated inbound and outbound file transfers using MOVEit Automation
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all data in transit meets HIPAA, PCI DSS, and SOC 2 requirements
- Automation & Reliability: Own and improve workflows to reduce manual intervention and prevent failures
- Partner Enablement: Support secure onboarding/offboarding of external trading partners
- Business Communication: Translate technical issues into clear impact, timelines, and next steps for non-technical stakeholders
Daily Responsibilities- Monitor MOVEit Automation jobs and SFTP services to ensure on-time, successful file transfers
- Troubleshoot failed, delayed, or corrupted transfers and perform root cause analysis
- Administer SFTP access including user provisioning, folder structures, permissions, and SSH key management
- Maintain and rotate PGP/GPG keys and SSL/TLS certificates to prevent outages and maintain compliance
- Review system and security logs to identify failures or suspicious activity
- Coordinate firewall allowlisting/denylisting and submit changes through ServiceNow
- Support internal teams and external partners with file transfer issues and onboarding needs
- Maintain documentation for workflows, configurations, and operating procedures
- Communicate risks, outages, and resolutions clearly to business stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience- 3+ years of MOVEit Automation / Managed File Transfer administration
- 3+ years managing SFTP platforms (OpenSSH or managed SFTP solutions)
- 3+ years experience with encryption, certificates, and key management (PGP/GPG, SSL/TLS, SSH)
- 3+ years monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response in enterprise environments
- 2-3+ years supporting Windows Server environments
- Strong PowerShell experience for automation and operational efficiency
- Proven ability to communicate technical issues clearly to business and non-technical stakeholders
- U.S.-based and able to work Central Time business hours

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
