Job Description:
Role Summary:

We are looking for a highly capable Lead Security Technician to oversee and execute the deployment of advanced commercial security technologies. This position involves hands-on work with electronic access systems, networked video surveillance, and intrusion detection solutions. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership in managing installations and possess strong technical and communication skills.
Core Functions:
  • Independently install, wire, configure, and test integrated security platforms in commercial environments.
  • Lead field teams during system deployments, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Provide remote support and diagnostics for client systems, maintaining a professional and solution-oriented approach.
  • Apply practical networking knowledge to support system connectivity and performance.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams to ensure expectations are met.
  • Monitor and document progress across multiple job sites, ensuring accountability and timely delivery.
  • Deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with SIP-based phone systems is considered an asset.
Required Experience & Competencies:
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with commercial-grade access control, IP video surveillance, and alarm systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading technical teams and managing full-cycle project execution.
  • Strong organizational habits and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Solid understanding of internet protocols and network infrastructure.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving history.
  • Preferred certifications include: Honeywell Pro-Watch, Genetec, Openpath, Exacq, 3xLogic, or Brivo.

Training and development opportunities are available for candidates who show strong potential.
Educational Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Vocational or military training in electronics, communications, or a related technical field (preferred)
