Testing Concepts, Process and Methodology
Looking for a proactive and highly skilled Data Test Engineer with expertise in handling large data migration testing projects, strong SQL skills, TIBCO Spotfire Statistica Power BI (reports and visualization), Computer System validation (CSV, in Life Sciences) testing and Test management process. This role goes beyond traditional QA, the ideal candidate will strategize testing approaches, optimize validation processes, and deliver value-added improvements to enhance data quality, reliability, and analytics outcomes across the organization. Strong understanding of ETLELT data flows and data transformation logic Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud-based SQL environments Ability to analyze large datasets, complex transformation rules and derive insights to support data quality improvements. Drive process automation opportunities (SQL automation, Python scripts, metadata-driven testing, reusable validation templates) Optimize current QA processes by identifying inefficiencies, reducing manual steps, and implementing best practices for data validation. Proactively identify data quality risks, gaps, and bottlenecks, and propose solutions to improve overall data reliability. Suggest and implement value-add initiatives such as Reusable test accelerators and SQL libraries, automated reconciliation scripts, Test data generation strategies, better test coverage models for high-risk datasets Experience using ALM or similar test management tools.
