Contracts / Outsourcing Manager

Summary:
Seeking an experienced Contracts/Outsourcing Manager to support R&D by managing MSAs, SOWs, CDAs, CRO contracts, and related procurement processes. This role works cross-functionally with R&D, Legal, and Procurement to ensure compliant, timely contract execution and financial management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, CDAs, amendments, and CRO contracts

• Liaise with R&D, Legal, and Procurement to translate business needs into contract terms

• Ensure compliance with procurement, TPRM, SOX, Sunshine Act, and contract policies

• Manage PO approvals, invoice reconciliation, and accrual reporting

• Maintain supplier and contract records in systems (Ariba, MDG, APEX, Axxerion, InvoiceTrack)

• Support contract reporting and supplier performance tracking

• Lead contract processing activities and support cross-functional stakeholders

Required Skills:

• Strong contract management and negotiation experience

• Knowledge of drug discovery and/or development operations

• Excellent project management in cross-functional environments

• Experience with procurement/legal systems (Ariba, MDG, Axxerion, Smartsheet, Power BI)

• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Science, Business, or related field (Master s preferred)

• 3+ years of contract management experience in pharma/biotech or regulated industry

• Knowledge of healthcare compliance and procurement processes

• Ability to work independently in a global matrix environment
