Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- 9+ years of experience.
- Manage and optimize cloud-based databases and infrastructure hosted on AWS
- Monitor database performance and ensure high availability and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve database related issues and incidents
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement scalable and efficient database solutions
- Implement and maintain database backup and recovery processes
- Perform database tuning and query optimization to enhance performance
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in cloud database management and AWS services
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science information technology or a related field
- Experience in managing cloud-based databases and infrastructure preferably on AWS
- Proficiency in database administration backup and recovery processes
- Strong understanding of database security best practices and compliance
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Relevant certifications eg AWS Certified Database Specialty are a plus
