Job Title: Senior Data Analyst Job ID: 26-00227 Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid 1 day onsite per week). Duration: 12 months on W2 contract

Local Candidates Only. Must reside near Oakland/Bay Area.
Equipment: CLIENT laptop provided. Other equipment to be supplied by vendor.

Role Summary:

The Senior Data Analyst supports Smart Meter Programs by extracting data, developing insights, maintaining operational data tools, and delivering automated reporting solutions across multiple business units.

Top Skills Required:

Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server and SSIS.
Debugger mindset with strong root cause analysis skills.
Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Technical Skills:

SQL, T-SQL, SSIS, data cleaning, Power BI.
Nice to have: Power Automate, Power Apps, Python.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize ETL processes using SSIS.
Develop automated data routines and perform data cleansing.
Maintain and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards.
Analyze processes and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Support data quality, governance, and SQL performance tuning.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably SQL Server.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $50.00-$53.00 per hour.
