Overview

In this role, you will serve as a senior engineering consultant, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions for highly complex technical and business challenges. You will provide deep subject-matter expertise, influence strategic decision-making, and drive large-scale engineering initiatives that require innovation, long-term vision, and advanced analytical thinking. This position requires regular engagement with senior leadership and stakeholders across the organization.

• Act as a senior technical consultant, shaping engineering strategies and initiatives spanning multiple domains.
• Lead the evaluation and resolution of complex, multidimensional technical problems, delivering scalable and sustainable solutions.
• Provide expert guidance to engineering and business leadership on technology direction, architecture, and innovation opportunities.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to design, build, and optimize high-impact engineering solutions.

Technical Requirements
Backend Development

• Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Security 6.x, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring AOP, Spring Actuator
• Spring ORM, Spring JPA, Spring REST

Microservices

• Designing and implementing microservices using Spring Boot 3.x and Spring Cloud

Database & ORM

• Hibernate 6.x, JPA
• Oracle 12c

Java Development

• Java 17+ including multithreading, event handling, generics, and advanced language features

Frontend Development

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), Bootstrap 5
• jQuery, Ajax
• Angular 16 (components, services, directives, pipes, route guards)

UI/UX

• Building responsive, user-focused web interfaces using modern frameworks and design best practices

Web Services

• Experience building and consuming SOAP & REST APIs
• JAX-WS, JAX-RS, and Spring REST Controllers

• Networking technologies (F5, AVI, etc.)

• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving ability

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience, or equivalent through a combination of professional work, consulting engagements, training, military experience, or education.
