Job Title: Java with Python and R

Location: Washington County, DC.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Python and R programming languages
• Utilize strong object-oriented concepts and core Java/J2EE skills
• Work with relational databases and write SQL queries
• Collaborate with teams to design, develop, and deploy AWS solutions
• Create reports using BI tools like Tableau
• Implement DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Java with Python and R programming languages
• Experience with AWS services such as Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, RDS, and Redshift
• Solid understanding of object-oriented concepts and core Java/J2EE
• Knowledge of Unix platforms and the Spring framework
• Ability to write SQL queries and work with relational databases
• Experience with GitLab, Terraform, Jenkins, and CI/CD deployment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Oracle databases and stored procedures
• Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau for reporting
• Knowledge of AWS services such as CloudFormation, OpsWorks, and DynamoDB
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD automation
