Role: PKI / Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer

Location: Remote 100%

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PKI & IAM Engineer to design, manage, and secure enterprise certificate and identity infrastructures. The role focuses on Microsoft Certificate Authority (CA), Venafi, DigiCert, and Centrify to ensure secure authentication, certificate lifecycle management, and privileged access across hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft PKI / Certificate Authority (CA) infrastructure
Administer and automate certificate lifecycle management using Venafi
Manage public and private SSL/TLS certificates using DigiCert
Implement and support Centrify for Privileged Access Management (PAM) and identity integration
Ensure certificate compliance, rotation, renewal, and revocation
Integrate PKI and IAM solutions with Windows, Linux, cloud, and application platforms
Monitor certificate health and remediate expiring or misconfigured certificates
Support security audits, risk assessments, and compliance requirements
Troubleshoot authentication, encryption, and access-related issues

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience with Microsoft Certificate Authority (Enterprise & Standalone CA)
Hands-on experience with Venafi Trust Protection Platform
Experience managing certificates via DigiCert
Working knowledge of Centrify (PAM, SSO, AD integration)
Understanding of PKI, SSL/TLS, X.509 certificates
Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, and identity federation
Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) for automation
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks
