Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support initiatives within the Home Improvement Finance domain in a consumer product technology environment. This role will be responsible for two Agile delivery teams, serving as a servant leader who ensure teams are effectively applying Scrum principles while delivering high-quality, compliant solutions in a regulated financial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as Scrum Master for two cross-functional software development teams, ensuring consistent application of Scrum values, practices, and ceremonies
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
* Scrum Master will partner closely with Product Owners and delivery teams to support user story creation, estimation, and prioritization
* Remove impediments and coach teams toward continuous improvement and high performance
* Drive transparency through Jira dashboards, reporting, and workflow automation
* Communicate delivery status, risks, and dependencies clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Promote Agile best practices including servant leadership, collaboration, and accountability
* As a Scrum Master, you will support Agile delivery in a banking and regulatory environment, ensuring alignment with compliance and governance expectations
* Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum concepts, maturity, and adoption
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
* Certifications: First-level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) and/or SAFe Practitioner certification required; Additional Scrum Master or SAFe certifications are a plus
* 3-6 years of experience as a Scrum Master, supporting software development teams
* Experience creating and supporting user stories, estimation, and backlog management
* Strong working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
* Strong Jira expertise, including dashboarding and workflow automation
* Excellent facilitation, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills
* Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting Agile delivery in banking, financial services, or regulated environments
* Project Management experience in Information Technology environments
* Second-level Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM II) and/or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master
* Experience applying Scrum theory consistently over multiple years with development teams
* Working knowledge of SAFe
* Familiarity with additional Agile frameworks and techniques (Kanban, XP, TDD, CI/CD, ATDD, automated testing, Agile metrics)
* Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading Agile teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
