Desktop Support TechnicianOn-SitePosition OverviewA Desktop Support Technician is needed to support a large-scale technology refresh project in a client-facing environment. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with device deployments, and maintaining accurate asset records. The position is fully on-site and requires direct interaction with end users in a walk-up support setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on support for computer hardware, software, operating systems, and basic network configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through in-person, phone-based, or remote support.
- Install, remove, and configure devices and applications as part of deployment and refresh activities.
- Deliver professional, customer-focused service and confidently address user concerns.
- Collaborate with end users, technical teams, and vendors to resolve incidents and fulfill service requests.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate asset records within the organization's tracking system.
- Support ongoing project tasks and adapt to new assignments as needed.
Qualifications- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Approximately 2 years of experience in IT support, deployment, or a related technical role preferred.
- Technical certifications are a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with end users.
- Solid time-management skills and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with device installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and refresh processes.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in team settings.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
