Responsible for implementing and maintaining all company connections at a highly available, enterprise level and will be involved in a mix of project work and system support. This role is part of a team, which is responsible for the management of the network infrastructure environment ensuring the appropriate configuration, maintenance, and installation of routers, switches and appliances, hardware, software, and tools. Responsible for the health and security of the route switch environment by maintaining the latest patches, updates, configuration, and monitoring systems to help identify issues. Collaborate with the department leader to identify, design, and develop strategic network solutions compliant with technical and security policies. Collaborating with other Jackson networking and technical teams and Information Security on new initiatives; act as subject matter expert in several Company network technologies, including analysis and QA; assisting in maintaining the network environment including configuration, IOS updates, patches; troubleshoot network issues levering the use of industry standard network tools and monitoring. Being operational support for day-today activities, and working with Cisco IOS, NXOS, and ACI. Working on firewall configuration and implementation (ASA and Checkpoint). Responsible for wireless troubleshooting (Cisco Wireless Controllers), support Fiber Channel Infrastructure (Nexus 5000 series switches), support various network appliances (Citrix NetScaler, WSA, and ESA), complete network documentation using Visio and publishing via SharePoint or Wiki, support Level 1 and Level 2 technicians with trouble tickets for end users. Applying knowledge of how emerging technologies would solve a technical problem or enhance the user s experience, assisting in Business Continuity testing, providing after hours on call assistance on a rotation basis, and perform other duties and/or projects as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering Computer Information Systems or related technical field and/or educational equivalent with experience required.; 5 years of work experience must include work experience as Network Architect, Solution Architect, Senior Network Engineer, Senior Network Specialist, Network Engineer, or combination. 5 years of work experience must include work with leading technology projects including deployment of Network Infrastructure CISCO ACI, Cisco DNA, Nexus 9000 CheckPoint R80.x and F5 BIG IP load balancers
