Technical support specialist

Role:- Technical Support specialist
Location:- Park Ridge, IL

• Provide white-glove support for executive and leadership meetings, both in-person and hybrid
• Set up, test, launch, and monitor Zoom meetings in conference rooms, including audio, video, screen sharing, and peripheral devices
• Be physically present for executive meetings to ensure real-time support and rapid issue resolution
• Coordinate with the Unified Communications Manager on scheduling, room readiness, and technology standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV, Zoom, and collaboration tool issues quickly and discreetly
• Manage conference room technology including cameras, microphones, speakers, touch panels, and room controllers
• Perform pre-meeting checks to ensure systems are fully functional prior to meeting start times
• Provide post-meeting support and document recurring issues or improvement opportunities
• Maintain a professional, calm, and service-oriented demeanor in high-visibility environments
• Adhere to executive confidentiality and information security best practices

• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise collaboration tools and conference room technology
• Strong hands-on experience with Zoom Rooms and Zoom meeting administration
• Experience supporting executive or C-suite–level meetings in a corporate environment
• Working knowledge of Unified Communications platforms and AV hardware
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under time-sensitive conditions
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience supporting hybrid and large-scale executive meetings
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco Webex, or similar platforms
• Understanding of enterprise AV standards and room design best practices
• ITIL or customer service–focused support experience

• Strong attention to detail and proactive mindset
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
