Shifts: Must be able to work first shift ( flexible start/end time but start between 6 - 9 AM, 8 hour shift)
Key Responsibilities :
Builds and codes applications and/or modules using languages and concepts such as C++, ABAP, JAVA, XTML, visual basic, etc.
Using knowledge of software engineering, computing technology, programming languages, and software life cycles to develop, program, maintain, and integrate computing applications, including company-developed and commercial off-the-shelf software.
Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
Interfaces with application users, other programmers, analysts, application architects, systems analysts, and other technical and support personnel in functional areas requiring knowledge and proficiency in business processes.
Troubleshoot, research, and resolve SAP issues, including server, interface, and database issues.
Administer and manage different SAP systems. Tune and setup monitoring SAP systems to meet SLAs.
Resolve incidents affecting the operation/availability of production systems, through troubleshooting and implementing known fixes, including writing and follow up of SAP incidents.
Participate in on-call rotation to ensure operations of these critical systems
Work with internal users on SAP tickets in our Basis queue.
Work with team to manage and monitor workload of the SAP landscape.
Develop and maintain SAP application system documentation.
Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades.
Required Experience:
Previous participation in all phases of systems development, including functional and technical design, build, test and support
Advanced understanding of SAP ABAP development concepts, guidelines, and SAP Architecture
Experience with ABAP programming, Design, Build, Configuration, Testing, and Debugging functions to meet Business Process and Application Requirements
Writing test scripts and technical specifications
Advanced MS Office skills
Team player and have well-developed verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience networking with cross-functional teams
Excellent problem-solving skills and love to continuously learn
Dedicated, self-directed, motivated, proactive, and inquisitive
Preferred Experience:
2 + years of experience with ABAP
Understanding of ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
S4 Hana
SAP Certification
XI/PI/P0 experience
Experience with SUSE/Redha
BASIS experience in ABAP and JAVA systems.
HANA Basis experience
Experience in ERP Support Pack and Enhancement Pack Upgrades
SLD Maintenance
Web dispatcher experience
Excellent interpersonal, written and team collaboration skills
Willingness to support mission critical systems
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Ability to recognize and resolve critical issues in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
Required Education:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience
