Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Angular Developer with Java exposure to join a fast-paced development team supporting enterprise applications for Bank of America. The role requires strong front-end expertise combined with solid backend understanding in Java-based microservices architecture.

This is an onsite role in Jersey City, NJ, and face-to-face interviews are mandatory, so please apply only if you are local and comfortable being seen in real life.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular (versions 2, 4, 6, and 17)

• Collaborate with backend teams working on Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices

• Build and consume RESTful APIs

• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases including MongoDB and MarkLogic

• Integrate cloud-based services using AWS components such as CloudWatch, Lambda, SQS, and SNS

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and execution

• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of applications

• Support OTC-related systems and workflows

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Angular (2+ through 17)

• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot

• Solid understanding of Microservices architecture

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

• Exposure to AWS cloud services (CloudWatch, Lambda, SQS, SNS)

• Agile development experience

• Strong communication skills and ability to work onsite with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

• Financial services or banking domain experience

• Prior experience working with Bank of America systems

• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
