Position: Senior Data Center Facilities Engineer

Role Summary-
The Senior Data Center Facilities Engineer is responsible for the design, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of mission-critical data center infrastructure. This role serves as a technical authority for power, cooling, life-safety, and environmental systems, ensuring high availability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across enterprise and colocation facilities.
The engineer acts as a senior escalation point, leads complex maintenance and infrastructure projects, and partners closely with IT, network, security, and colocation providers to maintain 24x7x365 resilient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Data Center Infrastructure Operations
- Own day-to-day operation of critical facilities systems, including:
Electrical Systems:
- Utility feeds
- Generators
- ATS/STS
- UPS
- Switchgear
- PDUs
- Grounding
Mechanical Systems:
- CRAC / CRAH units
- Chillers
- Cooling towers
- Pumps
- Valves
- Containment systems
Environmental Systems:
- Temperature monitoring
- Humidity control
- Airflow management
- Leak detection
- Ensure systems operate within defined capacity, redundancy, and safety thresholds
- Act as senior escalation engineer for critical facility incidents and outages
- Maintain Tier-aligned availability targets (Tier II–IV, as applicable)
