About this Position:
Job Title: System Engineer
Duties: Must be able to analyze information requirements. Must be able to evaluate problems in workflow, organization, and planning. Develops appropriate corrective action. Provides daily supervision and direction to staff.
Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. A Master's Degree is preferred.
General Experience: Must have six (6) years of experience in systems engineering.
Specialized Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in the supervision of system engineers, and demonstrated use of interactive, interpretative systems with on-line, real-time acquisition capabilities.
Personnel Preferred Qualifications:
Engineer, Systems Desktop Engineering
A. Five (5) years of experience administering and maintaining Windows environments
B. Manage and support enterprise print solutions, including PaperCut MF and multifunction printers (HP MFPs and Canon copiers).
C. Provide AV support for conference rooms and event spaces, including AVoIP systems and control interfaces.
D. Deliver Tier 2 support for Microsoft 365 applications and services (Power Automate, Office Apps, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
E. Deploy and manage endpoints using Tanium and PDQ for software distribution, patching, and asset inventory.
F. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
G. Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps in an IT knowledge base.
H. Current certifications in the following:
1. Relevant certifications from Q-SYS and/or Microsoft.
