Jira Administor
Mesa, Arizona (Fully Onsite)

Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Jira and related Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira Service Management, etc.).

Manage user accounts, permissions, roles, and security schemes.

Ensure system uptime, performance, and integrations.

Design and implement Jira workflows, custom fields, dashboards, filters, boards, and reporting.

Configure Jira projects to support Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) as well as other business processes.

Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and technical teams to define requirements and optimize Jira usage.

Demonstrated excellence in customer engagement and the ability to translate user input into actionable business requirements.

Provide best practices and governance for consistent project and issue management.

Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and onboarding guides for Jira users.

Serve as the primary point of contact for Jira-related issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve application, workflow, and integration problems.

Partner with Atlassian support and vendors as needed.

Maintain system security, compliance, and data integrity.

Create reports and dashboards for leadership visibility into projects, progress, and KPIs.

Establish standards for Jira usage across teams and ensure adherence.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3 5 years of hands-on Jira administration experience

Must possess expert-level knowledge and practical proficiency in Jira governance standards. Strong understanding of Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, and notifications.

Experience with Agile/Scrum and project management methodologies.

Familiarity with Jira REST APIs and scripting

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into Jira solutions.

Experience in ITSM/ITIL processes using Jira Service Management.

Preferred

Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator or similar certification.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrations (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub).
