Job Title: RF Design Engineer
Location: Sunrise, FL Position Summary: Work with senior RF design engineers to design, develop, and test transceiver subsystems for mission-critical communication systems. Perform regulatory compliance testing and conduct engineering studies to optimize performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Collaborate with senior RF design engineers in the development of:
- Receiver front-end circuitry
- Zero or near-zero IF architectures
- Transmitter power amplifier stages
- VCOs and frequency synthesizers
- Assist in regulatory and performance testing efforts
- Execute test plans and generate supporting documentation to verify requirements are met
- Use software tools and test equipment to validate electronic designs
- Design, debug, and test analog and digital circuits
- Provide support to production facilities and coordinate with test engineering and production personnel regarding testing and manufacturing processes
- Perform additional related duties as needed

- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in RF transceiver design
- Experience using test equipment and software tools for electronic simulation, design, testing, and documentation
- Previous experience in the land mobile radio (LMR) industry is a plus
- Typical office environment involving sitting, walking, lifting, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling tools and equipment, verbal communication, and visual focus
- Use of personal computer and general office equipment is required
- May involve moving between multiple floors or buildings
- Exposure to typical production or lab environments including noise, vibration, oils, solvents, and chemicals
