Summary
Position Summary
The Microsoft Dynamics CRM SME will serve as the lead expert responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in Microsoft Dynamics 365. This role involves defining system architecture, integrating with external systems, customizing solutions to meet business needs, and providing guidance and training to users and technical staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, overseeing overall design, architecture, and implementation.
Define the logical, technical, and physical architecture for Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions.
Develop and deliver CRM solutions tailored to the Department of Economic and Workforce Development.
Administer, support, maintain, and monitor the CRM system, including configurations and customizations.
Develop and implement CRM functionalities and train others in CRM development best practices.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and technical teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Assist with data migration and integration with third-party applications, databases, and other systems.
Create and deliver system prototypes, demos, and documentation for end-users.
Conduct quality assurance, testing, and performance evaluations to ensure CRM reliability and user satisfaction.
Provide ongoing technical support, training, and troubleshooting assistance.
Participate in project planning, scheduling, and deployment of new CRM features.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline.
Minimum 7 years of experience in the IT industry, including 3 years as a technical expert.
At least 3 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM development and customization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, JavaScript, C#, .NET, and Web Services.
Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 APIs, SDKs, and CRM architecture.
Experience in SQL, database management, and data migration.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience leading full life cycle CRM implementations in Microsoft Dynamics.
Knowledge of CRM data modeling, workflows, and user interface customization.
Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and its integration with Dynamics 365.
