Summary
Role Overview
The Onboarding Specialist Contractor will facilitate the onboarding process for new hires and support the end-to-end deployment of dealership management software solutions. This role serves as the operational lead, ensuring smooth transitions, effective system implementation, and successful user adoption with minimal business disruption.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Orientation

Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new hires

Schedule and conduct orientation sessions and training programs
-
Prepare and distribute onboarding materials including welcome packets, employee handbooks, and training resources

Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, addressing questions and concerns
-
Collaborate with HR, IT, and cross-functional teams to ensure new hires have required tools and access
Project Leadership & Coordination

Lead and coordinate all phases of dealership software installation from planning through post-installation support

Ensure project milestones, timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met

Identify risks and escalate issues with mitigation plans
Stakeholder Engagement

Act as the main liaison between dealership staff, software vendors, and internal teams

Communicate project objectives, timelines, milestones, and expectations clearly

Foster collaboration and stakeholder buy-in throughout the project lifecycle
Installation Oversight & Issue Management

Oversee software installation and system integrations (finance, inventory, CRM, etc.)

Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate technical and operational issues for timely resolution
Training, Enablement & Support

Design and deliver in-person and virtual training sessions

Provide hands-on support during transitions to ensure user confidence and adoption
Documentation & Continuous Improvement

Maintain detailed documentation on implementations, configurations, user feedback, and lessons learned

Work Environment

Primarily on-site at dealership locations nationwide
