Job Overview
Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing scalable project management processes across the Global Workplace Services (GWS) organization. This role ensures alignment with company standards, drives operational efficiency, and leads cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives. The Project Manager fosters collaboration, supports team growth, and leverages automation to streamline workflows.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain universal, scalable, and streamlined project management processes that are easy to learn and replicate.
Ensure project management practices are aligned with current organizational standards and processes.
Work closely with project management teams across the organization to promote best practices and process consistency.
Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels and functions.
Organize and manage team meetings, projects, workshops, and other activities.
Support team growth initiatives.
Identify opportunities to automate processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Ensure all projects are within the scope of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Monitor team bandwidth, delegate tasks, and track project statuses in real time.
Report project progress and status to leadership, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
Collect and analyze additional metrics to quantify team performance and impact.
Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for project progression.
Implement strategies to address product security-related issues.
Lead and mentor a team of project coordinators, fostering professional growth and development.
Review, edit, and maintain project documentation (e.g., SOPs, playbooks, runbooks, templates, comms plans) to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with organizational standards.
Produce clear, audience-appropriate technical and operational documentation that translates complex processes into easy-to-follow guidance.
Establish and enforce documentation standards (formatting, version control, taxonomy, and storage locations) to ensure content is discoverable, reusable, and up to date.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and validate documentation, ensuring updates reflect current workflows and systems.
Own documentation change management, including drafting updates, coordinating reviews/approvals, and communicating changes to impacted teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred with 3+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
Highly motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proven ability to build successful cross-functional relationships at all organizational levels.
Outstanding customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
Innovative and creative approach to problem-solving.
Courage to address difficult issues and drive results.
Experience in process and procedure development.
Strong written communication skills, able to write clearly in both technical and non-technical formats.
Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and handle on-call responsibilities as needed.
Ability to travel (including internationally) on short notice.
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites, Vids, etc.) for documents and templates.
Demonstrated experience reviewing and editing operational and/or technical documents for clarity, completeness, and consistency.
Strong technical writing skills, including the ability to document processes, tools, and workflows for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience creating and maintaining standardized templates, playbooks, or knowledge base content (e.g., SOPs, FAQs, onboarding guides).
